Email forwarding explained

Email forwarding is a simple concept where you take an email address and set it to forward every time it is used. In the examples below, you will see how emails from the Cascade Woodlands website work. The reason you use a form entry system like the forms on the website is to collect information and track the entries. This is used in a contemporary business model to ensure tracking of processes is established. This is to ensure that responsible parties are held accountable.

In this example, you can see the entire list of email addresses and whether forwarding is enabled:

Here you can see the address that the message is forwarded to:

And here you can see the email addresses that this is forwarded to as well. In this example, due to the fact that the HOA management team does not understand privacy and standard business protocols, email addresses have been exposed to the public repeatedly, so we have left these visible:

As you can see, we keep copies of all emails to provide evidence that the messages were sent and where they went. In a recent Group Email sent out by the HOA “secretary” on behalf of the “President”, it was stated that the official email and contact method was to send directly to the stated email address, which of course was wrong. The system provided ensures that your message goes to where it is supposed to go every time. When you are told that emails will only be responded to when sent to the “proper address”, this is disingenuous at best, as you can see that the message is going where it is supposed to go. Please read below to understand:

At this time, the Cascades Woodlands Private website is NOT the correct or official method or tool to request legitimate records or documents from the association.
Please utilize the CascadesWoodlandsHOA@gmail.com email to make requests now and for the foreseeable future.
We have just lived through and continue to work with a pandemic and the new board members and officers are working very hard to bring records into order.
Tom and Sue have done a great job of keeping track of expenses and making sure all is in order as the new full board goes forward

Subject: Cascade woodlands requests

XXXXX, in the future, please make all requests to the association to CascadeWoodlandsHOA@gmail.com and not my e mail. I am sorry you had not received that information as XXXXX had requested to be removed from group notices. I will forward recent treasury levels to you as well as our latest by laws one last time from my e mail. Thanks mike
