The gate contractor will be out tomorrow with the last two parts necessary to finish the gate installation. A second transformer for the newer system and additional wiring was needed and has taken a bit of extra time. Thanks for your patience and hopefully it will be fully operational and programmed by the end of week.
A community member was kind enough to donate two old game cameras to monitor the entrance and gate areas. As we recently voted and determined that it is appropriate to place cameras within the community as needed, these will be mounted to cover the gate access as we have been experiencing vandalism at the gate.
Ron and Christy Travers made a request to let everyone know that the external community will be installing speed bumps on their section of the roadway as they have been having many speeding cars recently. Their note:
“Due to an influx of speeding vehicles through our properties, several of us will be placing speed bumps between the first driveway and the last driveway below the red gate.”
