So we have finally completed the replacement of the gate operator system and access system. The system has been programmed with the information provided by residents and each resident that asked for a specific private gate code has been set up and your access codes are working. This project took a little longer than expected due to safety/code update requirements and other unforeseen variables, however, the contractor was a great guy and we came in about $100 under budget. It’s not much, but it’s a refreshing in this day and age to get a job done right with no added expenses.
With the new programming tools, this gate system has the ability to display a message. It currently reads “Welcome, please obey 20 MPH limit in community” so perhaps that will help remind guests and contractors or service people to maintain a safe speed. If you did not provide information online you have not been programmed into the system. You can check to see if your information is present by using the key pad at the front gate. The universal code that was programmed recently is still active and works properly. Thanks to everyone for your patience and cooperation on resolving this issue.
